Our signature Offerings

Full service

Our full-service design helps you renovate a space or create a new custom build. We want to be one of the first teams you hire and will guide you through the entire process. We will work with you to define the project’s scope, set realistic timelines and budgets, and identify the team needed to complete your project.

We will design your space, provide necessary drawings and documents, and find all the furniture, finishes, and decor. We work closely with your architect and contractor, and we will be on-site frequently during construction to ensure the design is executed correctly and finished on time.

This service includes the option for move-in ready concierge help and finishing touches, such as professional organizing services and stocking your kitchen pantry just the way you like it!

DESIGN LIGHT

This service is tailored for clients who prefer to focus on design and merchandise rather than project management. It is ideal for projects with minimal construction and smaller scopes of work. Unlike full-service design, clients are responsible for overseeing the work and communicating with all trades involved in the project, such as painters, wallpaper installers, window treatment installers, contractors, and more. We support your success by providing all necessary documentation and resources that your trades will need to implement our design. Similar to full-service design, this service includes a site survey (when needed) and comprehensive design and procurement services, culminating in either a single or multi-day installation. This service is particularly popular among clients who are primarily seeking furnishings and decor.

DESIGN DAY - $3,000 

If you want a beautiful, curated, and functional space but don't have the budget for our more extensive services, our Design Day might be perfect for you! This service works well for clients who need help furnishing and decorating a few rooms or those looking for assistance with selecting finishes and fixtures for a construction project.

We start by sending you an intake questionnaire and a list of deliverables we need from you to get started. The Design Day begins with a virtual meeting where we will discuss your goals and aesthetic preferences. After that, we dedicate an entire day to creating the space of your dreams, helping you select materials, lighting, furniture, and more.

At the end of the Design Day, you will receive a complete design plan in a PDF format. This plan may include specific product recommendations with links, vendor suggestions, design concept sketches, and furniture layouts. We can source everything from decorative lighting to bathroom finishes, kitchen cabinet paint colors, furniture, and more.

*Fixed Design Fee: $3,000 | Project Budget Varies Depending on Scope. Optional Add-On: Hourly Procurement Services 

Virtual Design - $3,500+

Everything mentioned can be done virtually. If you would like us to visit your location and collaborate on your project in-person, we will include travel expenses in your proposal.

    onboarding

    Design consultations consist of a one- or two-hour meeting where we connect with you, either virtually or in person, to discuss your interior design questions, concerns, and ideas. After we have a signed contract and receive the initial payment, we will proceed to the next phase, which is design development.

    Design Development

    In this phase of the project, we begin by researching, visiting showrooms, assessing the project site, and making selections. After everything is completed, we will put together your design presentation, including estimates and deposits.

    Procurement

    Throughout this process, we order the necessary materials, furniture, and other items needed to bring the project to life. We routinely check the project's progress to ensure we are meeting the deliverables and adhering to the timeline.

    Delivery and Reveal

    We've done it! Now it's time for the exciting part! We will focus on delivery and styling before the big reveal. During this phase, we identify any deficiencies, resolve them, finalize invoicing, and conclude the project. We strive for client satisfaction and aim to exceed their expectations.

  • Prices for our design services vary depending on the project. To better understand if your budget aligns with our pricing, we typically work with clients who have an initial budget of $200,000 or more.

  • We would be happy to work with you virtually if that is what is necessary to complete the job. Some of our clients require guidance in designing a space, while others need more comprehensive services. In cases where travel is needed, we include travel costs in our proposal and are willing to go anywhere you require us.

  • We have clients across the country, and with travel being so easy, there are no location boundaries for AreaEdit.

  • We specialize in both commercial and residential design work. Additionally, we have ventured into aviation interior design and event space design. Our natural creativity and passion for art inspire us, and taking on various projects keeps our work environment enjoyable.
